Method 1:
Requirement: 2-4 gallons on RV Antifreeze

1. Locate low point drain on fresh tank & open.
2. Empty water out of water heater (removed drain plug from outside).
3. Locate by-pass on water heater & if by-pass valve has not been installed, couple both hot & cold lines together. We sell by-pass kits for installation and an easier job winterizing.
4. Locate pump & attach suction hose to inlet side of pump.
5. Make sure there is not a fresh water filter in the system. If there is, it needs to be removed before winterizing.
6. Place suction hose in antifreeze bottle(s).
7. Turn on water pump to pressurize system.
8. Go to each faucet & turn on hot side of faucet until antifreeze comes through and into p-trap (approx 4-6 ounces).
9. Repeat with the cold side of each faucet.
10. Continue through all faucets and toilet valve.
11. If RV has an ice maker, it will need to be drained.
12. With RV still pressurized, go to outside water entry and depress check valve so that anti-freeze will enter it.
13. When complete, put lines or by-pass on water heater back to original position & pump the remaining fluid into the water heater.
14. Turn pump off.
15. Your entire system is now winterized and ready.

Method 2:
1. Drain all tanks and your water heater.
2. Take a blow out plug (we sell these)and attach it to your city water entry.
3. Using an air compressor, blow all water out of the lines by opening each faucet one at a time until there is no water coming out (don't forget to open the toilet valve also).
4. Take a gallon of RV antifreeze and put approximately 6 ounces in each p-trap in the RV.
5. There is no water left in your system & it is now winterized.
